What we do......
We keep it simple, the consignee involvement is minimised: once contacted we meet the client at their convenience, quickly appraise the items and note any particular requirements . We then arrange collection , on going storage as well as deal with any refurbishment issues. It is our objective to maximise the return from any clients property , by agreement some items may be offered for rental as well as sale.
We aim to provide as comprehensive a system as possible to enable clients to easily source items for themselves and their homes at the same time recognising the need to offer more than just an on-line market place, every item being checked for quality ensuring buying satisfaction at all times .
REGATTA ROOM is a private 'concierge' service born from years of sourcing quality vintage , designer and antique properties for clients and aiding others to sell unwanted, no longer suitable, left over pieces from redecorating, remodelling and downsizing. Quality property is still quality property whether its direct from a retailer or redistributed from a private owner.
In a world of conspicuous consumption we believe there is a place for the counterpoint to the 'throw away society' it is our mission to rescue all the practical, reuseable well made properties that deserve to find new uses, new users and new homes, stemming the flow of unwarranted waste . To provide a place for the conscientious to effectively dispose and obtain goods and chattels of enduring worth
We all hang onto items simply because we appreciate their worth, not necessarily monetary but certainly because the item has life left in it and should be used if not by us then by someone. These are the items that need , deserve to be redistributed, disposed of in such a way as they will continue to offer pleasure, and service for a long time to come.
We aim to provide a unique resource for the regularisation of redistributing all those items we appreciate are worthy of more than an ignominious end in the back of a wardrobe , a bottom drawer, the cupboard under the stairs, the loft or the self store, but sadly fail to be rescued.
